Talk this month on book on town’s pioneer past

Get a taste of Greenwich’s colonial past on April 18 when town author and historian Missy Wolfe discusses her highly acclaimed book Insubordinate Spirit: A True Story of Life and Loss in Earliest America 1610-1665.

The event was previously scheduled for April 4 but was pushed back to April 18.

Ms. Wolfe drew on years of archival research in her fresh account of the amazing Elizabeth Winthrop’s life in 17th Century Greenwich and Stamford, following the story of a woman who was truly ahead of her time.

This event, sponsored by At Home in Greenwich, takes place in Fletcher Hall, Second Congregational Church at 2 p.m.

Call Executive Director Lise Jameson at 203-422-2342, if you would like to attend.
