Greenwich High softball stays perfect in FCIAC with 14-2 victory over Trinity Catholic

After losing to East Lyme High School on Saturday, the Greenwich High School softball returned home and to its winning ways earlier today, smashing Trinity Catholic High School, 14-2.

GHS starting pitcher Alison Kach pitched five innings, due to the run rule, and ended with seven strikeouts and four walks. Colleen Bannett went 3-for-4 with four RBIs, while Ebba Mark went 2-for-4 with three RBIs off a bases-clearing triple.

Jenn Ambrogio went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and Rebecca Decarlo finished the day going 2-for-4 with two RBIs.

Up next for the Cardinals will be a game at home against Stamford High School at 4 p.m.
