Himes to hold town meetings

U.S. Rep. Jim Himes (D-4th) will hold four town hall meetings, including one in Greenwich, the first week of April to gather input from constituents on the issues currently facing Congress.

All interested community members are encouraged to attend.

“As Congress deliberates how best to accelerate job growth, reduce our national deficit, prevent future gun violence, and reform our immigration system, I want to hear your thoughts and ideas on these and the other important issues facing our nation,” Mr. Himes, a Cos Cob resident serving his third term in office, said. “Hearing from you makes me a better representative, and I hope all who are interested attend one of these meetings.”

Mr. Himes’ Greenwich meeting will take place Saturday, April 6 at 3:30 p.m. at Central Middle School, 9 Indian Rock Lane. He also appeared in Fairfield at Roger Sherman Elementary School on April 2 and will appear in Wilton at the Trackside Teen Center, today, April 4 and in Shelton at Shelton City Hall, also on April 6.

RSVP by calling 866-453-0028 or online at himes.house.gov. RSVPs are encouraged but not required.
