Letter was a cheap shot against Laudonia

FI-Letter-to-the-EditorTo the Editor

Regarding the letter “Attire Suggestion for the Tax Collector’s Office” in the Greenwich Post on March 14, I, for one, did not like the ‘cheap shot’ directed at Mr. Tod Laudonia, the town of Greenwich’s tax collector.

Say what you will about Mr. Laudonia, most certainly have, but Tod deserves our ‘respect’ and a sincere ‘thank-you’ for his service to our ‘great town of Greenwich, Connecticut.’

Mr. Laudonia did not deserve that ‘cheap shot’ in regard to his desire to play ‘golf.’ It is not against the law to want to play ‘golf’ at the town’s golf course.

Working for ‘the Town of Greenwich, Conn.’ is not easy, and the ‘town’s citizens’ should show some ‘respect’ to members of the town, who do their very best to improve things here.

‘Shame’ on the letter writer.
