Bringing dance to workplace

The Arthur Murray Grande Ballroom of Greenwich recently announced its collaboration with RSL Consulting Group LLC, offering workshops designed for businesses to learn to use dancing to break down silos and engender teambuilding in the workplace.

The first workshop will be a complimentary breakfast session on Tuesday, March 26 from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. It will be held at the Grande Ballroom.

The Arthur Murray Grande Ballroom of Greenwich, known for promoting movement and dance across Fairfield County and upper Westchester as a fun and exciting way to stay vibrant and healthy, is partnering with RSL to demonstrate how dance can enhance leadership and corporate culture.

The two organizations intend to combine fundamental elements of corporate and professional development with the principles of dance, to create the mental, emotional and physical integration necessary to be successful in business.

“Corporate team building through the creative application of dancing is a brilliant way to break down barriers and guide team members safely outside their comfort zone,” said Christine Georgopulo, owner and president of the Arthur Murray Grande Ballroom of Greenwich. “Team members will exercise, bond, and learn about themselves and co-workers, while growing as individuals and teammates, proving that every great journey, new experience and effective change begins one step at a time.”

RSL assists leaders of small and mid-size organizations in the articulation of their vision, formulation of their strategy, and creation of an organizational goals system that supports the discovery and development of the untapped potential of the organization’s people.

“Christine’s dance philosophy and techniques form the basis of our innovative new method of improving personal productivity and enhancing cooperation to increase a company’s chances of becoming a high-performance organization,” said Richard S. Lewine, president of RSL.
