Broadway, baby

gl-interfaith-concert-2-7On Saturday, Jan. 26, choirs from local houses of worship gathered at Temple Sholom for the Fourth Annual Interfaith Broadway Revue concert. Choirs included the Temple Sholom Teen and Youth Choirs, the Christ Church Choir, the Greenwich Catholic School Choir, St. Michael’s Church Choir and the Second Congregational Church Youth Choir. These groups gather every year to pay tribute to great Broadway songs. This year the revue featured songs from classic shows such as Fiddler on the Roof, Guys and Dolls, The Sound of Music and South Pacific as well as tunes from modern day shows like Newsies, Wicked, Rent and Once. More than 250 people braved the cold weather to attend the performance. Above is the Temple Sholom Teen Choir.
