Dug out after Nemo yet? Get ready for more snow possibly

Don’t put away those snow shovels quite yet. The forecast for this week has some snowy warnings in it as another winter storm seems like its heading for Greenwich and the area later this week.

The forecasts have not given a clear picture yet, but the timing could affect the commutes on Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning. There is a chance, according to the National Weather Service, that snow could begin after 3 p.m. Wednesday. The expected high on Wednesday is 40 and the low is 28. But because of the high temperatures, it could end up being more rain than snow.

More snow is likely Wednesday night into Thursday morning, according to the weather service, which says it is most likely between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m. New snow accumulation is expected to be two to four inches here depending on the temperaure. The chance of precipitation is listed at 60%.

Weather the rest of the week is expected to feature the sun and highs in the mid-40s.
Saturday and Sunday could feature some more snow showers as the temperatures get colder for the three-day weekend.
