YWCA sponsors women author talks this week

The YWCA Greenwich will be hosting author Julie Orringer who will discuss her first novel The Invisible Bridge, a love story set against the backdrop of Budapest and Paris and a tale of three brothers whose lives are ravaged by war, next Wednesday, Feb. 22, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. A book signing will be held after her presentation.

The event is co-sponsored by JCC Greenwich. Tickets are $15 available through the JCC at Jccgreenwich.org or by calling 203-552-1818, or mailing a check to One Holly Hill Lane, Greenwich, CT, 06830.

The next day, Thursday, Feb. 23, beginning 6 p.m. at the Greenwich Library Meeting Room, teacher and author Dr. Sharon Oster will discuss the central role of women in the business of social enterprise. Ms. Oster is the former dean and now the Frederick D. Wolfe Professor at the Yale School of Management.
