Boys & Girls Club casting ‘Beauty & The Beast Jr.’

The Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich has scheduled auditions for its third production of the new Drama Club, “Beauty & The Beast Jr.” The Broadway musical is based on the hit Disney movie with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice and a book by Linda Woolverton.

Auditions will be held on Dec. 16 at 6 to 9 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich, 4 Horseneck Lane. Performances will occur May 4, 5 and 12, 2012. Young people ages 6-18 are encouraged to audition. Auditoners should prepare an a cappella song and be prepared to sing as well as read from a script. Participants must enroll before Dec. 14.
