Local vocalists in ‘Songs of Christmas’ concert on Sunday

Greenwich vocalists Christina Connors and Ben Stein, also a guitartist, will join other performers to present an afternoon of holiday songs in a concert called “The Magical Songs of Christmas” on Sunday, Dec. 18, at 4 at the 300-year-old meeting house of the Greens Farms Congregational Church in Westport.

After the program there will be a reception with the artists also including Steve Magnuson, who performs throughout America and internationally and who is the soloist at Greens Farms Congregational Church. The Greenwich Choral Society contracted him to solo at its annual Christmas concert. Other performers are Will Haskell, Brenda van der Merwe and jazz pianist Chris Coogan.

This is a free concert, with a suggested free-will offering of $20. A portion of the proceeds will go to GFCC Music and Worship, which supports musicians and artists.
