Tree lighting ceremony on Dec. 5

The Department of Parks and Recreation has announced that the annual tree lighting ceremony will take place in front of Town Hall on Friday, Dec. 5 from 3:45 until 4:30 p.m.

There was a lot of intense action this past weekend as cars raced against each other but this wasn’t at Daytona and Dale Earnhardt Jr. was nowhere in sight. It was the first Greenwich Girl Scout Grand Prix.

A special exhibition showcasing the Bruce Museum’s collection, along with vessels from other museums, opened on Nov. 22 and run until March 29, 2015.

Museum celebrates Native American Heritage Month

November is Native American Heritage Month, and the Bruce Museum will celebrate with a special family day dedicated to Native American traditions on Sunday, Nov. 23.
