August’s primaries set the ballot for November’s election and, in a rematch, Tom Foley, the 2010 Republican candidate for governor, will again face incumbent Gov. Dannel Malloy, who won last time by only 6,400 votes.
It’s the dog days of August, but for Greenwich those hazy, hot and humid days haven’t materialized. We haven’t had a single day so far in which the temperature exceeded 90 degrees.
This Friday is July 4th and that means that across America we will celebrate our nation’s founding in 1776.
Gov. Dan Malloy is one lucky guy. Imagine if our embattled governor were Pinocchio. How long would his nose be?
