Using a complete team effort, the Brunswick School basketball team took a 23-point lead against Hopkins School and never loked back, finishing off Hopkins School, 65-56.
The Bruins were led by Sam Fraser, who finished with 23 points and three assists. Ryan Hardin finished as a defensive star, netting six steals and five assists. As a team, Brunswick School finished with 20 steals and 16 assists.
With the victory, the Bruins entered its toughest stretch of the season, playing six games in two weeks and battling teams like Rye Country Day School, Masters School, Hamden Hall and Trinity Pawling.
As a note, the Bruins were slated to play Rye Country Day Friday afternoon. Due to the snowstorm that is scheduled to blanket the Northeast on Friday, the game will be played tomorrow afternoon at the King Street campus.
