Humane Society of Connecticut hosts Humane Lobby Day

HumaneLobbyDayFULL

There are two kinds of people talking to your lawmakers about animals: those who have the animals’ best interests at heart, and those who do not.

So, if you’re not there, guess who’s left doing the talking?

If you love animals, let’s get together and collectively tell the people who decide Connecticut’s laws what issues are important, like enforcing laws for cruelty to animals, protecting bears and other wildlife, elephants from the brutal ivory trade, animal victims in court and more. Be a voice for the voiceless.

If you can’t come, tell a friend.

Humane Society of Connecticut will hold a Humane Lobby Day on Saturday, March 19, from noon-2 p.m., at the Harry Bennett Library Auditorium, 115 Vine Road, Stamford.

$10* Registration fee — deadline is March 15.  *Covers expenses, Not tax-deductible. *Please contact us prior to registration if paying a fee creates a hardship for you.
