The Convent of the Sacred Heart was unable to successfully defend its FAA championship this year. After upending Masters School in the FAA quarters, the Tigers were eliminated in the FAA semis by top-seeded Rye Country Day School, 41-35. Emily O’Sullivan finished with a team-high 12 points, while Colleen O’Neill added eight points and Claire O’Neill netted six points. Kayla Souza pitched in with five points and Bridget Scatturo rounded out the scoring for Sacred Heart by netting four points. With the loss, the Tigers ended their season with a 13-7 overall record.
