Sharing holiday cheer

  • Views133

Community service is an integral part of the programming at Eagle Hill School in Greenwich and because of that, this past holiday season the Lower School Leadership Council, under the direction of advisor Kathy Quinn, chose to build upon relationships the school already has with the Sweet Readers program, which links students with Alzheimer’s patients and the Connecticut Health of Greenwich nursing home. The students designed and made holiday cards for the patients in both facilities. The majority of the cards were sent with the school’s choir when they performed a holiday concert for those living in the Greenwich nursing home. Above, Chris Nelson holds a stack of cards already designed and ready to go along with his own 3-D version of snow falling on fir trees.
