On Jan. 27, Elliot Greenbaum from North Street School defended his title at the 2013 Greenwich City Scholastic Chess Championship as the top fourth grader from Greenwich. Last year he was the 2012 champion in the primary division for grades second to third. The tournament took place at Greenwich Academy and included participants from across Westchester and Fairfield counties.
